Every March the Relief Society celebrates the birthday or the date the Relief Society was organized. I like to have a Birthday dinner to celebrate. One of the birthday dinners, our theme was
"Brown Paper Packages Tied Up With String."
Invites
The invites were a brown lunch sack inside was the info printed on a separate paper, and the top was tied up with a piece of ribbon.

Please bring a few of your FAVORITE things.

There was a dinner of lasagna, salad, bread sticks, with cupcakes & ice cream for dessert. On the cupcakes we put a Skittle. I had the tables preset. The utensils and napkin were in a brown paper sack. The center piece on each table was yellow carnations in a vase that was inside of a large brown paper bag with a bow tied around it.
After dinner we went around the room and each sister showed her 'Favorite Things" that she had brought. For those who had forgot to bring something, we asked them what color of Skittle was on top of their cupcake. Each color represented something different that they had to tell us about themselves.
RED: Most embarrassing moment
ORANGE: Something Unique about them
YELLOW: Something that make them the happiest
GREEN: Favorite cleaning product
PURPLE: Favorite Holiday

Activities!
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints. One of the organizations in the church is Relief Society. It is for women 18 and older. Once a month we have a activity for our sisters, and I am the Leader over these activities. I have had several friends of mine ask about the activities I put together and want to know more about them. I am going to be posting the activities I have had in the past and ones that I hope to have in the future. Please let me know what you think.

Frames Craft
I try to find crafts that are interchangeable with the seasons. There are so many holidays that have "WORD" associated to them. It got me thinking of how I can use these "WORDS" to decorate.
I bought 4 different sized frames at the dollar store. I then went though my scrapbook paper to find paper pieces that went with each holiday. I then started to think of 3 or 4 letter words that would go with each season or holiday. This is want I came up with....
SNOW, LOVE, LUCK, RAIN, SUN, STAR, FALL, BOO, NOEL.
You could really have fun with this, & you could also add a frame for 5 letter words if you wanted. I cut the words out of vinyl with my Silhouette.
I did end up buying a few pieces of paper to go with a certain season or holiday, but over all I didn't spent much.
See Christmas to take a look at NOEL!
